Sony’s PWS-4500 Live Production Server Validates Matrox's Extio 3 IP KVM Extenders
Matrox Video’s high-performance Matrox Extio 3 IP KVM extenders have been validated by Sony Imaging Products & Solutions. (Sony) with its PWS-4500 4K/HD live production server. Featuring 4Kp60 and full HD video extension and switching support, Extio 3 delivers a scalable and secure KVM matrix over IP, allowing users to easily access, share, and control PWS-4500 servers on the network. With this validation, production facilities, OB vans, and TV studios can confidently deploy highly-efficient, streamlined infrastructures for a wide range of live production applications, including live sports, events, news, and more.
“Matrox Extio 3 IP KVM extenders are the ideal complement to Sony’s PWS-4500 production server,” says Masakazu Murata, Deputy Senior General Manager, Media Solution Business Division, Sony Imaging Products & Solutions. “Extio 3 works seamlessly with PWS-4500 server, a ready-fit KVM extender for the live production platforms. Broadcasters will be pleased with the new level of operational proficiency provided by the Extio 3 and PWS-4500 combination.”
Matrox Extio 3 IP KVM extenders deliver unprecedented, ultra-low-bitrate 4Kp60 4:4:4, dual 4Kp30 4:4:4, or quad 1080p60 4:4:4 video extension and switching support over a standard Gigabit Ethernet network. Extio 3 also offers advanced security features, ensuring secure and safe transmission of all audio, video, and USB signals over LAN or private WAN.
